Accounts Payable Officer (Canning Vale)

**About the Role**: Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Processing and entering of invoices into the financial system; ensuring they are processed accurately and paid on time
- Coordinating the weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements, following up any discrepancies and settle any overdue amounts.
- Answering accounts payable queries from internal and external parties
- Monitoring and actioning AP inbox
- Maintaining the AP system, including records of payments, vendor and supplier details
- Supporting the month-end and year end processing
- Covering reception duties when needed
- Any other duties necessary to ensure the responsibilities of the role are executed.

**About You**: You will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated expertise in managing high-volume purchase order-driven processes, including three-way matching of invoices, POs, and debit notes.
- High competency in MS Office; knowledge of accounting software will be an added advantage
- Strong attention to details, Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
