Workshop Mechanical Fitter (Canning Vale)

We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.

**About the role** We are currently seeking experience Mechanical Fitters/LV Mechanics to join our workshop team based in Canning Vale, in a full time capacity. With opportunity to assist on occasion with our mines site based FIFO shutdowns, and site coverage (paid at 12 hours per day).

**Hours**: Monday to Friday (10 hours) Saturday (6 hours)
- 56 hours per week

**Rates**:Ordinary Time $43.00, Time & Half $64.50 Double Time $86.00
- Full Time + Leave Entitlements)

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- An appropriate Australian Mechanical Fitter or Light Vehicle qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of fixed plant components, such as crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and chutes, hydraulics etc.
- WA Drivers Licence.
- Ability to interpret drawings, instructions and ability to do workshop fitting.
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and be able to work in a team workplace.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

**Preferred, although not essential**:

- First Aid or Senior First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Elevated Work Platform competency
- Rigging competency
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Current police clearance
