Willetton Senior High School (SHS) is one of the largest schools in Western Australia, with a student population in excess of 2700, approximately 230 teaching staff and 145 support staff on campus. In this role, the successful applicant will oversee school business operations, ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and reporting. You will contribute to budgeting and financial planning, monitor expenditure, and provide accurate financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.

You will coordinate corporate services, including human resources, payroll, recruitment, and leave management, ensuring alignment with policies and operational needs. The role also involves managing procurement, facilities, and assets, as well as supporting the delivery of the School Business Plan and key organisational reports.

Additionally, you will lead and supervise administrative staff, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality service delivery across the school.

Qualifications and Requirements

Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.

Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal and negotiate with a wide range of individuals at all levels.

Demonstrated well developed financial skills, including budget preparation, monitoring and reporting, and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.

Demonstrated considerable understanding of, and ability to apply, human resource management and customer service principles and practices.

Demonstrated ability to provide input to the development, implementation and monitoring of business and strategic plans.

Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems and identify solutions.
