Description
**About the role**: We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers in the Capalaba & Victoria point area to join our teams.
Our first Client enjoys the faster things in life like auto racing and drag racing. When he’s not pursuing these interests, he enjoys staying up to date with current world affairs. He is also a private person, who would benefit from a Support Worker who respects and values his right to privacy. The ideal Support Worker for our dog loving Client is someone who has a keen attention to detail, is a thorough cleaner, is reliable, and takes initiative.
The role will involve supporting our wheelchair user with a spinal injury with **personal care including bowel therapy (experience in bowel care is required)**, and domestic assistance.
We are looking for Disability Support Workers who have availability for **2-hr shifts** **weekdays and weekends during the morning (shift times range from 8:30am-10:30am, 9am-11am, or 9:30am-11:30am).**
Our second Client is an old gentleman is an outgoing person who is up before the birds requiring personal care supports at 5am so he can make his way to his favourite café for a bite of breakfast and a bit of socialising.
This Participant self-identifies as a “part quad” who requires personal care, bowel and bladder support, and assistance with hoisting. Due to an acquired brain injury, he may occasionally have mood fluctuations. A bit of humour and patience can usually help redirect him quickly.
Shifts are available **7 days a week as follows: 5:00am
