Procurement & Logistics Officer - Commercial (Capalaba)

Trading for over 30 years, Hydro Vision Pty Ltd is one of Queensland's leading service providers in irrigation system design and construction.

With a strong focus on commercial irrigation, our services include design, installation and servicing in connection with a wide range of projects such as sports turf, storm water harvesting and central control systems and other commercial irrigation projects.

**The Role**

We are seeking an motived, enthusiastic Procurement & Logistics Officer to join our Head Office team in Capalaba.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our Project Managers and installation/service crews have the equipment and materials they need on site in a timely and efficient manner.

**Your Duties/Responsibilities**
- Assisting our Estimating team with information for the purposes of putting together quotes and tenders, including pricing of materials and securing quotes from third party contractors;
- Working with Project Managers to ensure materials required on jobs are on site when needed;
- Acceptance and general management of incoming stock;
- Picking and processing of orders from wholesale customers and our installation/service teams;
- Arranging for transportation of materials and equipment to site;
- Developing and maintenance of relationships with suppliers;
- Maintenance of vehicle registers including schedule of services; **About You**
- Previous irrigation, plumbing or similar experience would be an advantage. Would suit someone looking to get off the tools but still use their existing industry experience;
- Ability to communicate and problem solve;
- Good organisation skills;
- Comfortable with talking with people on the phone;
- Ability to develop relationships with internal staff and suppliers;
- Forklift licence would be highly regarded;
- Basic computer literacy skills;
- Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic;
- Physically fit.

Positive remuneration package commensurate with experience is available.

Pay: $65,000.00
- $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Irrigation: 2 years (preferred)
- Procurement: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
