Financial Officer - Invoicing (Mansfield)

**About us**: Fire and Safety Industries is a privately-owned Australian Company specialising in the manufacture, supply, and servicing of Fire Suppression Systems for Earthmoving Equipment. Our head office is in Brisbane, and we have branches and a distributor network across Australia and a growing network globally.

**The Position**: We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, invoicing expert. As part of our Commercial Team, your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on the timely processing of information within our systems for invoices for our Sales Team.

You will work with internal stakeholders ensuring that quality of information received is at an acceptable level and assist with the prompt closure of all invoices in line with invoicing. This will be done through:

- Ensure compliance and processing of all invoices for our Sales Team
- Analyse and compare quotes verse actual prior to invoicing;
- Finalise end of month processing, including entering labour information and raising invoices
- Ensure timely closure of jobs and maintain appropriate dialogue with involved parties regarding issues that cause delays in the invoicing process
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external)
- Collating and entering of data, preparation of reports
- Reconciliation of quotes to actual work completed to ensure all work has been invoiced

**About You**: You will be great at data entry and have a high level of attention for detail. You will also have:

- Previous experience within a finance position.
- Ability to communicate and work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Sound knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite
- A cooperative approach, adhering to company values
- Initiative-taking and a positive 'can do' attitude
