Senior Accountant (Belmont)

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Hillier's Advisors', you will be an integral part of our dynamic and growing Accounting and Business Services team. This full-time position is based in our Belmont, NSW office and offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients, providing strategic financial advice and support. What you'll be doing 1. Preparing and reviewing complex financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for our clients 2. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, business structuring, and financial management 3. Collaborating with the wider team to deliver integrated advisory services, including, bookkeeping, and business consulting 4. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and recommend solutions to enhance client outcomes 5. Mentoring and training junior accounting professionals to support their professional development 6. Maintaining a robust understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry regulations What we're looking for 1. 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting or business advisory role 2. CA or CPA qualification (or working towards), with a strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation principles 3. Proven experience in providing high-quality advice and support to a diverse client base 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights 5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team 6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices What we offer
