Warehouse Supervisor (Belmont)

About the role

Furniture Fitouts is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a small team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, protected work practices, and timely dispatch of goods. What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the work of warehouse staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping and stock control
- Implementing and maintaining warehouse safety, OSHA and security procedures
- Identifying and resolving operational issues or bottlenecks both internal and with external partners
- Liaising with other departments to coordinate logistics and support the overall business objectives
- Providing training and development opportunities for warehouse team members What we're looking for
- Desirable: 3 years' experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Desirable: Forklift Licence, White Card, MR Licence, First Aid Qualified, Police Clearance, LO/LF Ticket
- Strong operational management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders What we offer
