- A workplace committed to thoughtful innovation and continuous improvement Position Summary The Secondary Administration Assistant provides high‑quality administrative support to faculty areas, ensuring smooth coordination of processes, events, and documentation across the academic year. The role supports staff with day‑to‑day administration, prepares assessment and excursion materials, maintains faculty resources, and contributes to the effective operation of faculty activities. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, digital literacy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment. Role Responsibilities
- Provide administrative supportincluding word processing, email coordination, timetabling, Central, and budget monitoring
- Coordinate Secondary personnel forms in EdSmartsuch as excursion requests, parent permission forms, and Variation of Duty forms
- Use Office365, Central and related platformsto prepare excursion documentation and support budget processes
- Prepare student assessment materialsincluding printing, collation, and supporting documentation
- Support the organisation of school eventssuch as Discover Secondary, Awards Night, Graduation, school tours, excursions, and faculty activities
- Maintain faculty storerooms and resourcesincluding regular organisation and upkeep
- Support staff with curriculum materialsto ensure effective delivery
- Coordinate ordering and purchasingof stationery and faculty resources
- Participate in professional developmentto continually improve practice
- Communicate effectively with students and colleaguesin a timely and professional manner
- Maintain confidentialityof sensitive information
- Establish and maintain professional relationshipswith students and staff
- Communicate appropriatelyin the interests of the school community
- Undertake supervision dutiesduring student breaks as required
- Attend required meetingswith colleagues and parents
- Attend school eventswhen requested by the Head of Learning Area or Head of Secondary
- Perform additional dutiesas requested by the Head of Secondary or their delegate Selection Criteria
- Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship
- Model Christian character consistent with the College’s Statement of Faith
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and high digital literacy
- Show well‑developed organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrate effective professional relationships within the school community
- Show initiative and flexibility as part of a collaborative team
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive College information
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Hold a minimum Certificate III in Business or equivalent
