Senior Accountant (Mount Gravatt)

With a growing client base and an ambitious leadership team behind them, they're now looking for a Senior Accountant to step in, take real ownership, and grow alongside the business. THE ROLE: You'll play a central role in the day-to-day delivery of business services and tax advisory work across a broad and interesting client portfolio, while also being a go-to resource for junior staff who are developing their own skills and careers. Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a varied client portfolio across a range of industries and entity types
- Reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types
- Providing strategic tax planning and business advisory services tailored to each client's goals
- Preparation and review of complex tax matters including Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
- Serving as the primary point of contact for your clients, building trusted and lasting relationships
- Spotting advisory opportunities and supporting firm growth through referrals and cross-service engagements
- Reviewing the work of junior and intermediate accountants and providing meaningful guidance, mentoring and technical support THE BENEFITS:

- You will have at least 3+ years' experience within an Australian public practice firm and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, as client interaction and team support are key components of the role.
- A confident communicator across email, phone and in-person — clients feel well looked after with you in their corner
- Strong technical knowledge across business services and taxation
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- Self-motivated, commercially minded and genuinely invested in your professional growth
