Bookkeeper (Mount Gravatt)

The Company Due to growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a respected mid‑tier Accounting firm on Brisbane’s Southside with a strong reputation for quality, low turnover and genuine flexibility. With a collaborative culture and a supportive Bookkeeping Manager, this is an opportunity to grow your skills in a stable, well‑structured environment. The Appointment As a Bookkeeper, you’ll work closely with the Bookkeeping Manager to manage workflow, maintain high‑quality processing standards and support a diverse portfolio of SME clients. You’ll handle end‑to‑end bookkeeping across multiple platforms, contribute to continuous improvement and ensure accountants have accurate, timely information for lodgments. Key Responsibilities

- End‑to‑end bookkeeping across Xero, MYOB and QBO
- AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations and banking (including credit cards & receipts)
- Payroll processing across multiple platforms, including STP, super and payroll tax
- BAS/IAS preparation support and GST reporting
- General ledger and inter‑company reconciliations
- Investigate write‑offs and contribute to workflow improvements
- Provide software support and training to clients and internal teams
- Ensure timely, accurate processing to support ATO lodgment deadlines The Appointee

You’re an experienced bookkeeper with strong technical capability and confidence managing bookkeeping duties for multiple clients at once, ideally gained within a public practice or specialist bookkeeping firm. You’re comfortable working across Xero, MYOB and QBO, with solid skills in payroll, reconciliations, BAS/IAS support and general ledger work. You enjoy collaborating with a team, communicating with clients and contributing to a high quality, well‑structured bookkeeping function. What’s in it for you
