Description
Located on the shores of the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers a truly unique work workplace, famous for its beachfront location and daily dolphin interactions. We are seeking an experienced full‑time Restaurant Manager to join us on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to lead Food & Beverage operations, overseeing daily service and driving a high‑performing team across our outlets. Included on‑site accommodation is available, making this an ideal opportunity for local candidates or those looking to relocate. Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day Food & Beverage operations across outlets
- Build a strong partnership with the Head Chef to deliver high‑quality food and service experiences
- Recruit, train, coach and performance manage Food & Beverage team members
- Develop rosters aligned to operational needs while managing labour costs
- Monitor revenue, cost of sales and wages to meet budget targets
- Assist in menu development, promotions and outlet improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage stock control
- Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing, OH&S; and food safety standards
- Manage guest feedback, resolve complaints and drive continuous improvement
- Prepare reports on outlet performance and contribute to strategic planning Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards and cost control
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
- Experience managing budgets, rosters and operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A strong guest‑first mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality or Management (desirable)
- Current "Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)" certificate
- Approved Manager’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Availability to work a 7‑day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Benefits
