About the role

As a Storeperson / Assembler you will play a crucial role in our organization by processing sales orders, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, receiving and processing goods, and ensuring that the warehouse is well-structured, tidy, and clean. You will also support and maintain the inventory process, general database integrity, and general warehouse functions. You will also be responsible for basic gearbox builds.

Key Responsibilities:


- Process orders and requests for goods
- pick, pack and dispatch (including invoicing)
- Process goods receiving (CRA)
- Process unique and/or irregular orders (including kitting)
- Keep the warehouse well structured, tidy, and clean
- Observe and adhere to policy and procedure
- Support and maintain Inventory process (including stock-take)
- Support and maintain general database integrity
- Support and maintain general warehouse functions (including fill Pick Points, fill consumable utilities, perform Housekeeping duties)
- Operate and maintain Warehouse plant and equipment within prescribed standards of operation and safety
- Assisting with the assembly of basic gear boxes. Skills and Experience:


- Three years’ related experience
- Forklift Licence ideally
- Good computer literacy (ideally Sage ACCPAC, Microsoft packages)
- Problem-solving abilities with customers and suppliers
- Ability to work well with others
- Effective listening, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to digest and work in a high-pressure environment
- Absolute trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity
- Teamwork: Ability to work with other departments (e.g. customer service, sales reps) Benefits
