We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Advisor to join a well-established industrial operation in Far North Queensland. This is a hands-on role supporting leaders and frontline teams to drive a strong safety culture across site operations.

You'll play a key role in:

Supporting safety systems and compliance activities Conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations Coordinating toolbox talks and safety initiatives Managing risk registers and corrective actions Supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work processes Assisting with emergency response coordination Driving continuous improvement and behavioural safety programs

About You: Experience in WHS/SHE/EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction or heavy industry environments Strong understanding of safety legislation and risk management Confident communicator who can engage with both leadership and operational teams Passionate about creating safer workplaces and influencing positive change Certificate IV in WHS minimum (Diploma highly regarded)

Qualifications/experience

Cert IV in Training & Assessing Cert IV in OHS Occupational First Aid Rehabilitation and Return to Work Certificate Senior First Aid Confined Space Entry Safe Working at Heights
