Experienced Cabinet Maker – Full-Time Prospect

Our client is seeking a qualified individual with cabinet making experience for to join our Factory in Ingham.

Our client has manufactured high-quality cabinetry for more than 65 years and operates one of Queensland’s largest advanced production facilities. They recently opened a current factory equipped with world-class HOMAG machinery and continue to grow, offering excellent long-term career opportunities. Their portfolio covers a diverse range of projects, including:

· Residential renovations and new home builds

· Kitchens, bathrooms, and wardrobes

· Bespoke joinery

· Commercial projects across multi-residential, education, healthcare, office spaces, and fit-outs

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team delivering both functional and aesthetically refined cabinetry solutions in a fast-paced environment.

· Full-time position (38 hours per week + 5 hours of overtime)

· Overtime paid at one and a half times hourly rate (1.5) for first 2 hours and then double time (2x base rate) thereafter.

· Initial 3-month probation period

· Opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion

· Additional overtime available (depending on workload)

· Competitive pay based on experience and skill level

Key Requirements

· To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

· Proven industry experience in cabinet making

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

· Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines

· Competency in reading and interpreting plans and drawings

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

· Clear communication skills

· Ability to multitask while maintaining composure under pressure

· Solid problem-solving skills

· Physical capability to safely perform manual work

Essential Qualifications & Licences

· Proven industry experience in cabinet making

· Trade qualification in cabinet making

· Current C Class driver’s licence (or ability to obtain)

· Construction White Card (or ability to obtain)

· Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
