Civil Site Engineer (Castle Hill)

Blue Mountains Pipe & Civil are currently expanding due to current and upcoming projects . Blue Mountains Pipe & Civil are involved with major infrastructure project developments with major network providers within Sydney Metro, Blue Mountains, South Coast and Central West. Join the team at Blue Mountains Pipe and Civil as a full-time Site Engineer. Based in Castle Hill, you will play a key role in the construction and civil works projects undertaken by our growing company. As an experienced civil site engineer, you will use your skills and expertise to safely and efficiently deliver projects on site. What you'll be doing
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, supervisors and site managers
- Interpreting engineering plans, drawings, TWD, specifications and designs
- Overseeing the delivery of materials and equipment
- Planning and coordinating all on–site construction activities
- Working with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and the creation of a safe working environment
- Assisting in the development of construction methodologies and safety documentation
- Development and management of quality assurance and documentation
- Handling Purchase Orders, Reviewing Supplier Invoices
- Preparing monthly claims for project manager
- Submitting RFI's, EWN and variation notices
- Cost tracking and forecasting in conjunction with project manager What we're looking for
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 2 years Site Engineering Experience in Australia
- Sydney Water / Treatment Plant Experience is highly regarded
- A solid commitment to get things done
- Ability to work at a fast pace with completing deadlines
- Are adaptable, with a robust attitude to change
- Solid computer literacy
- Proficiency in project management software is required
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
