About the Home The charming Bupa Dural is a modern care home set in a semi-rural suburb within Sydney’s Hills District. You’ll be close to the local community with neighbouring parks, recreation centre, shopping mall and school. It consists of 102 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. About the Role To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering,cleaningand laundry Use your fantasticfood services and cleaningskills in a role where you really can make a differenceby providingour residents with an empathetic and personal approach. About you Previouscatering / food service or cleaningexperience preferred but not essential. You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable. Duties
- Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Complete required documentation and reporting
- Respond to residents ’queries and requests
- Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap oriron linen
- Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas anddishwashing
- Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collectionin the residents’rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
- Versatile availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
