Assistant Accountant - Fixed Assets (Norwest)

About the Role: We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant – Fixed Assets to join their growing finance team. This role will see you take ownership of the fixed asset register, supporting the full asset lifecycle from acquisition through to disposal, while contributing to month-end reporting and audit requirements. Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
- Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers
- Assist with depreciation and month-end activities
- Support asset tracking, stocktakes, and reporting
- Prepare audit documentation and investigate discrepancies About you:
- Degree/Diploma qualified in an accounting, finance or related discipline
- 2 + years experience in a accounting support or asset admnistration role (need exposure to fixed assets)
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
