As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing all outgoing payments and ensuring that all supplier accounts are paid in a timely and accurate manner. You will collaborate with various departments to maintain financial integrity and keep the company's operations running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process and manage all accounts payable transactions.
- Review and verify invoices and purchase orders.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare payment runs, including checks, EFTs, and other methods.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable activity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

**To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have**:

- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar finance role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with LS Central is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems (e.g., LS Central, MYOB).
- Strong Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP).
