- Dural-Based with Territory Coverage**
Are you an experienced Account Manager or Sales Representative ready to hit the ground running and win business? Based at our Dural location, you'll thrive if you're results-driven, love building relationships, and have a proven ability to sell.
**Package**: Up to $100k base + super + car allowance + bonus

**About us**: Hardware & General is a family-owned building and plumbing supplier based in Sydney. Founded in 1960 by Walter MacGregor, we've grown from a single corner store into a network of retail outlets across Sydney, while remaining proudly family-run and now in our third generation.

**Our locations**: Brookvale (our flagship site with multiple specialist sales centres), Peakhurst, Mona Vale, Terrey Hills, Hornsby, and Dural.
**What You'll Be Doing**: As an Account Manager, you'll drive new business growth and manage customer relationships across Dural, contributing to the company's success by achieving targets and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Managing a portfolio of key accounts and acting as the primary point of contact
- Monitoring customer needs and proactively identifying opportunities to expand business with existing accounts
- Negotiating and closing new sales while ensuring successful onboarding and implementation
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities
- Representing the company at industry events and networking functions
**What We're Looking For**:
- External Sales / Account Management experience in the construction or building supply industry
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and grow revenue
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and computer skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building solid client relationships
- Strong planning, organisation, and autonomous work capabilities
- Valid driver's licence
- Australian work authorisation required
- Prior experience in building or construction industry is essential
