Servcore is earnestly seeking a Service Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker) to join our hard-working and supportive team. Job Details: Full-Time, 38 hours per week. Location: Unit 8 5-7 Meridian Place Bella Vista NSW 2153 Salary: $83,200.00
- $98,000.00 per annum + Superannuation Key Responsibilities:
- Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
- Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
- Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
- Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
- Monitoring radio traffic, and transmitting and receiving voice messages
- Installing electronic instruments and control systems
- Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems Main Tasks:
- Represent Servcore professionally at all times, maintaining a high standard of presentation and compliance with company uniform requirements.
- Attend and complete client service requests within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively across project and service teams.
- Safely operate electrical testing equipment and tools in accordance with company procedures, Safe Work Method Statements and workplace safety requirements.
- Diagnose and rectify faults at client sites, with a focus on achieving first-visit resolution where possible.
- Maintain accurate records, including job status updates, field service reports, timesheets and relevant site documentation.
- Promptly report operational issues, safety concerns, site changes and other matters that may impact service delivery or client satisfaction.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management. Essential Skills:
- Robust communication skills;
- Strong knowledge of most commonly used security equipment. Relevant Experience and Qualifications:
- At least two years of on-the-job training/experience
