Principal Assurance Advisor (Baulkham Hills)

Hybrid work environment based in Bella Vista- Fixed term contract until July 2026- Play an important part of the Advisory function on one of the Bank’s major programs
- Core Modernisation (CoreMod)- Provides principal advisory guidance to large programs of work

You will be responsible for advising the Core Modernisation (CoreMod) program’s actionable insights to safely accelerate delivery, ensuring consistent and high-quality risk management approach. This includes not only identifying opportunities, but also ensuring they are actionable, and aligned with operational assurance.

About the role- Provide Critical Friend ‘advisory’ support to the Program- Identify and execute on select engagements of the Critical Friend Book of Work- Provide iterative, practical and actionable recommendations and insights across the Book of Work to safely accelerate delivery- Assist in addressing and resolving issues identified through Critical Friend engagements, contributing to risk mitigation and delivery assurance

About you- 10+ years' experience in transformation projects/programs- 10+ years' experience in advisory capacity- Experienced in IT Strategy, Process Optimisation, and Operating Model- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex issues.- Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, economics, finance, risk, compliance or related discipline, or equivalent experience
