Room Leader (Baulkham Hills)

We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified educator to Room Lead.

Little Angels Early Learning Centre is located in Baulkham Hills. We are a long day care centre which caters for children aged 0
- 6 years.
- 88 place child care centre
- Full time position five days a week

Successful **ECT/Diploma**applicants will have:

- **Strong leadership qualities**:

- **Understanding of compliance and running of the room**:

- **2 years experience in the position of Room Leader/Team Leader**:

- Demonstrate a good understanding of English and have excellent communication skills
- need to liaise with parents, fellow educators and management.
- Knowledge and interest in EYLF style programming and emergent curriculum
- Statement of attainment in child protection or willing to obtain
- First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma or willing to obtain
- Preferred sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Children Education and Care Services National Law 2010 as well National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Must have a current working with children check approval or willing to obtain
- Ability to provide high quality care and education
- Professional attitude, effective communication skills and ability to work in team environment
- Extensive knowledge of child's development 0-6 years
- Energetic, enthusiastic, happy, honest, patient and understanding person

All applicants must hold either a Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent. All overseas and interstate qualifications must already be assessed and approved by ACECQA.
