Thorne & Associates is a CPA tax accounting firm located in Norwest. We are seeking a part-time reception/office administration assistant for 2 to 3 days a week (being able to cover holidays for the office manager). This is a great opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic person who is looking to grow their skills in accounting administration to join our firm.
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in reception and/or administrative role, desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- A willingness to perform ad-hoc duties as needed
- Enjoy supporting and working as part of a team in a quick paced environment
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with the ATO
- Assist with managing ASIC corporate secretarial documents and compliance
- Preparation of covering letters, invoices and electronic delivery of financial statements and Income Tax Returns for business clients
- Data entry and ongoing records maintenance
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.11
- $40.90 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
