**What you’ll do Working as part of a highly innovative and collaborative team the Merchandising Strategy Analyst plays a role in Leading the merchandising vision and multi-year strategy for categories with a focus on our key strategic pillars. You will also be responsible (but not limited to) the following
- Co-creation with key strategic partners across commercial and Merchandise & Customer Value (ie: Macro, Category Development) to deliver against our key strategic priorities (ie: Range Curation)
- Partnering with the Merchandising Optimisation Team to leverage technology within space optimisation, specifically through the Planogram Generator tool
- Partnering with the Merchandising Operations Team to identify store level opportunities with a focus on improving our store team experience and operational efficiencies in our complex category portfolio
- Creation of insights and data, demonstrating strong analytical rigour that inform and influence the current merchandise opportunities within a commercial strategy through product merchandising and ease in customer shopping experience Leading the conversation and building trust through insight and data to enable, influence and unlock commercial opportunities**What you’ll bring
- Passion for great customer experiences and stores. Curious to understand customer behaviour and its links to commercial and space optimisation outcomes
- Attention to detail and result-oriented mindset with strong governance and validation of all planograms before category review is published to stores
- Clear analytical thinking, with capability of breaking information into component parts, patterns and relationships
