The Residential Care Manager will oversee several NDIS Supported Independent Living facilities, ensuring a high-quality of customer service to NDIS participants and their families. Overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of the SIL's, including staffing and service delivery.
Specific aspects of the role will include:
Lead and manage a team of support staff, including induction, training, supervision and
performance management.
Develop and implement operational procedures, including house rules, routines, and emergency
protocols, to promote the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of accommodation facilities to ensure
cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes effectively to optimize the operational efficiency of accommodation facilities.
Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor of Social Work, Disability Studies, Health Services Management, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
Proven experience in management or a leadership role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
Commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals with disabilities.
A valid driver’s licence.
Pay: $78,000.00
- $85,000.00 per year
