Thorne & Associates is a CPA tax accounting firm located in Norwest. We are seeking a part time reception/office administration assistant for 2 to 3 days a week (being able to cover holidays for the office manager). This is a excellent opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic person who is looking to grow their skills in accounting administration to join our firm.

Requirements for the role:

Previous experience in reception and/or administrative role, desirable

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems

Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

A willingness to perform ad-hoc duties as needed

Enjoy supporting and working as part of a team in a quick paced workplace

Key responsibilities:

Liaising with the ATO

Assist with managing ASIC corporate secretarial documents and compliance

Preparation of covering letters, invoices and electronic delivery of financial statements and Income Tax Returns for business clients

Data entry and ongoing records maintenance

Other ad-hoc duties as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.11
- $40.90 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
