- Fiery Indo-Chinese wok cooking
- Rich, aromatic Indian curries
- Precision-based prep and service execution
- Multi-station kitchen operations You will help create dishes that ignite the senses — from the smoky char of chilli chicken to the deep layered warmth of butter chicken, from the fragrant spice bloom of curries to perfectly balanced sauces that keep guests returning. What You’ll Be Responsible For Culinary Excellence
- Prepare and cook authentic Indo-Chinese dishes including noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chilli dishes, gravies, and wok-based specialties
- Prepare premium-quality Indian curries, gravies, and tandoori accompaniments
- Maintain flavour consistency, presentation standards, and portion precision
- Execute dishes with speed while preserving exceptional quality Kitchen Operations
- Manage mise en place and prep schedules for efficient service
- Operate across multiple stations as an all-rounder
- Ensure smooth coordination during peak service periods
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory requirements proactively Quality & Hygiene
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, high-performance workstation
- Follow NSW food compliance standards
- Minimise wastage through smart kitchen practices Team Collaboration
- Work closely with chefs, kitchen hands, and front-of-house staff
- Support a positive, energetic, and professional kitchen culture
- Mentor junior team members where required What We’re Looking For You are someone who: Has proven experience as an Indo-Chinese Chef / Curry Chef Understands the balance of heat, texture, aroma, and flavour layering Performs confidently in high-pressure service environments Is fast, organised, and highly disciplined Takes pride in consistency and presentation Is flexible, reliable, and ready to contribute beyond one station Brings passion, resilience, and hunger to grow The Ideal Candidate Has
- Minimum 2 years experience in Indian / Indo-Chinese cuisine
- Strong understanding of wok techniques and curry preparation
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations
- Food Safety knowledge
- Ability to multitask across kitchen functions
