Description
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 Aveley Secondary College (SC) opened in 2018 and is a large secondary school catering for Year 7-12 in Perth’s Swan Valley. The College is recognised as a school of choice with high expectations and standards, a progressive approach and a commitment to excellence. Teaching and learning at the College is a focus (with Explicit Direct Instruction the signature pedagogy) supported by a rigorous behaviour curriculum and systems to support conditions for learning in the classroom. The Role We are seeking to appoint a friendly and dedicated Network Support Officer to join our team. As a Network Support Officer, you would maintain the school’s Information Technology (IT) network to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes, within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework. Part of the role includes providing technical support and training to all users throughout the school including desktop and software application and access to systems and resources. The desired applicant should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks. Ideally, you should have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to guide and implement user-training procedures. The successful applicant would ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies and liaise with Department of Education Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues.
