As a Network Support Officer, you would maintain the school’s Information Technology (IT) network to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes, within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework. Part of the role includes providing technical support and training to all users throughout the school including desktop and software application and access to systems and resources. The desired applicant should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks. Ideally, you should have positive verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to guide and implement user-training procedures. The successful applicant would ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies and liaise with Department of Education Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues.
