- Greet and Seat Guests: Warmly welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.
- Take Orders: Knowledgeably describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.
- Check on Guests: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well‑organised, including clearing tables, resetting and restocking.
- Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
- Handle Payments: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.
- Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items, specials or beverages to enhance the guests’ experience.
- Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests’ needs to the best of your ability.
- Safety and Hygiene: Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
