Home Care Support Worker Aged Care - Cessnock

**Do you meet these minimum requirements?**
- Live in or near **Cessnock**including surrounding suburbs **Aberdare, Bellbird, Branxton, Broke, Ellalong, Fordwich, Kitchener, Lovedale, Laguna, Oswald, Millfield, Mount View, North Rothbury, Paxton, Pelton, Pokolbin or Stockrington.**:

- Hold a current** Australian Drivers' Licence**with your** own car**(sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared/rental vehicles)
- Available to **work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday**(some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
- Know this **is NOT**a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

**What this role offers**:

- Permanent Part-Time Contracts
- **Permanent Contract hours**: 20-30 hours per **fortnight** + flex up hours.
- **Hourly Rate**: $30.86
- $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- **Entry-Level Carers**: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
- **Experienced Carers**: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
- **Most importantly**:be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!

As a valued team member, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. **Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role
- this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers.** From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
