Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects. Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards– and in alignment with schedules and budgets.Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients. Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally. Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team. Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers. Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.Experience&Skills

Bachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering). RPEQ qualified or close to completion. Minimum 8-12 years post graduate industry experience. Commercial experience in Australia or New Zealand on medium/large building structure engineering projects is essential. Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence full security clearance is essential– only eligible to Australian Citizens (Permanent Resident, NZ Citizens&Visa holders are not eligible). Exposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, health, retail, defence. Familiar with ETABS, RAM Concept and Microstran. Solid consultancy experience in a client facing role with ability to lead projects. Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery.Experience coaching&mentoring junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
