We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Certificate III Educator** to join our experienced team on a **12-month maternity leave contract**. **Position Overview**: As a Certificate III Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a rich, child-centred educational program that meets the individual needs of each child. You will be responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs, and ensuring that the environment is safe, welcoming, and engaging for children aged 3-5 years.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop, implement, and assess engaging and educational programs.
- Observe and document children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through purposeful play and planned activities.
- Ensure the workplace is safe, inclusive, and supportive of children’s needs.
- Contribute to the overall daily operations of the preschool, including maintaining a clean and well-organized learning space.
**Key Requirements**:
- Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- A passion for children’s learning and development, with a commitment to providing high-quality education.
- A valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Experience in programming and planning based on individual children’s interests and needs.
