Nextt is seeking a compassionate and experienced female support worker to support a valued client in Adamstown, residing in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). This is a rewarding chance to make a genuine difference in someone’s daily life.

About the Client:

The client lives with a spinal cord injury, intellectual disability, and Desbuquois Syndrome, which results in skeletal dysplasia and achondroplasia. They also experience anxiety and benefit from consistent, understanding support. A love of music is a big part of their day, so music lovers are encouraged to apply!

Support Requirements:

Personal care

Hoist transfers

Catheter care

Bowel care

Skin checks

Shift Times:

Week 1:

7-9am: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2:

7-9am: Tuesday, Sunday

6-8pm: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday

Additional Opportunities:

There is the chance to pick up additional shifts with other clients in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region.
