Production Supervisor (Queensland)

Job Description We are seeking a full-time experienced Production Supervisor with full-time availability to join our production team inthe heart of Brisbane. The Specifics:
- Full Time Employment,
- Competitive salary of $70,000 to $75,000 (+ super & benefits),
- Start time of 6:00am daily, with early midday finish on Fridays! (plus, occasional additional hours to ensure customer demand is met). The Job involves:
- Opening and/or closing the factory,
- Supervising a small but growing team of employees of all ages and backgrounds,
- Training and Development of all staff to achieve outstanding results,
- Monitoring production performance, quality and safety while meeting KPI's,
- Handling customer complaints and concerns,
- Food Preparation including the use of cooking equipment,
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment,
- Training new employees,
- Willing to drive the small delivery truck when required,
- Weekend and public holiday work if required,
- Assisting the team with daily factory work, including using machinery, lifting meat boxes up to 25kg, packing products, performing QC checks, helping the delivery driver with delivery/truck tasks,
- Using a forklift to unload and load delivery trucks, move products from the production floor to and from the fridge and freezer,
- Reporting any safety, machinery or personnel matters to management in a timely manner,
- When required, using stock management software to order and monitor stock, using digital time clock software to monitor and schedule staff rosters and using the Microsoft Office software suite to plan production requirements and individual worksheets for all staff. Qualifications The right candidate must have:
- Strong and demonstrated supervisor experience,
- Leadership skills; motivating and leading a diverse team,
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures impeccably,
- Understanding and ability to enforce food safety & WH&S; regulations,
- Flexibility and able to adapt to change,
- Attention to detail to ensure the production facility is clean and in good running order,
- Training and development experience desirable,
- Motivation to keep your team motivated and on task,
- Ability to work as a team with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast-food industry. Additional Information The Good stuff
