General Labourer For Council Queensland

We are seeking a conscientious and effective Labourer to join the City of Moreton Bay. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Asset Maintenance team, performing vital manual tasks that ensure our region's infrastructure remains sustainable and of a high standard for our residents.

Schedule

Start Time: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Start Location: Narangba, Margate, Petrie, Caboolture or Dayboro

Hours: Monday – Friday, 38 Hours (9 Day Fortnight)

Key Responsibilities

Building solid working relationships across broad work teams to ensure skilled delivery of all projects.

Ensuring all plant and equipment are used strictly according to manufacturer instructions and Council safety procedures.

Supporting the wider goals of the Asset Maintenance department to ensure high-level service delivery.

Undertake a variety of labouring duties, including construction and maintenance tasks, in an effective and timely manner.

Correctly use and maintain plant, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) according to safety policies.

Identify and address potential hazards and maintain safety standards on site.

Requirements

Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

Open C Class driver's licence and reliable transport (essential)

MR or HR Licence (Highly Desirable)

Qualifications

Current MR Class Driver's Licence.

Construction Induction Card (White Card) – must have been used or obtained within the past 2 years.
