We are looking for an energetic, can do Hotel All-Rounder. Bar & Gaming position available to start ASAP to replace team members leaving our venue. Torres Strait Hotel, Thursday Island is looking for an energetic and positive person for the following work as Hotel All-Rounder Bar & Gaming attendent to join our fun and hardworking team in our locally family owned and operated hotel with a robust team environment. We are situated on Thursday Island, a dynamic and beautiful part of the country that not many people get to see. With great diving and fishing at your doorstep!! Thursday Island is a 1.5 hour Qantaslink flight from Cairns to Horn Island with a short 10 minute ferry ride from Horn Island to Thursday Island. If you're experienced and wanting to start immediately and would like to see one of Australia's last hidden secret's please contact us as we are seeking a couple ASAP We pay award rates weekly, you will be guaranteed at least one day off per week and accomodation is available onsite in a self contained unit at 100 per week. Applicants must have the following Criteria.
- Ability to Maintain Hygiene and Safe Food Handling along with a clean working environment with a minimum of a basic food handling certificate.
- Able to speak and understand English.
- Have the appropriate working rights in Australia
- Ability to do split shifts, weekends and nights.
- A can do energetic attitude and willingness to learn and follow directions.
