Solution Architect — Contract A major Queensland Government agency is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a large, complex technology program. You will design and deliver scalable solutions across cloud, integration, data, and geospatial systems while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Key responsibilities Design end-to-end solution architecture across applications, integrations, and infrastructure Translate business requirements into fit‐for‐purpose technical solutions Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and risk assessments Lead options analysis and scoping activities Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout delivery Engage stakeholders across technical and non‐technical audiences Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards Participate in architecture review boards and governance forums Essential requirements Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex organisations 8+ years designing and delivering technology solutions Strong experience in data, databases, and location/tracking systems Hands‐on cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proficiency in integration technologies — APIs, microservices, ESB Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies Highly desirable TOGAF and/or AWS certification Experience across both public and private sector Experience on large‐scale government programs Familiarity with Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) framework Solid stakeholder engagement skills #J-*****-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qko1t
