Overview This role will see you become a leader, thereby enhancing your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Property and Buildings team. You will collaborate with talented and diverse professionals working on iconic projects to drive future‐ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities. You'll scope and steer civil works from concept through detailed design and construction support, coordinate inputs from roads, drainage, utilities and pavements, and bring a pragmatic eye for buildability, safety and whole‐of‐life performance. As a trusted advisor to clients and partners, you will facilitate workshops, de‐risk decisions, shape clear and compliant deliverables, mentor emerging engineers and champion digital design and quality standards. What you'll do Have the opportunity to work on iconic projects within a multi‐disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of civil engineering design projects. Support the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when opportunities present. Carry out assigned project and 12D design work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standards. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to a team‐oriented approach and outcomes. Provide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the team. About you Bachelor to Master's level degree in Civil Engineering. Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable). 7‐10 years of industry experience. Demonstrated experience working on Australian or New Zealand projects within the Building and Property sector. Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent). Practical experience using 12D is essential. Experience with Earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage and utilities. Experience with executing BIM and 3D modelling project delivery methods. Familiarity with working with point cloud surveys would be highly regarded. Able to work remotely on client sites, liaising directly with the client to deliver the most appropriate engineering solution.
