The Opportunity: Our team of landscape architects, urban designers and design specialists has never been stronger, with a growing pipeline of city-shaping projects across Southeast Queensland. As a result, we have multiple opportunities available for Senior Landscape Architects to join our Brisbane team. From new communities and public realm projects to urban renewal and placemaking initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful projects while working alongside a highly talented and collaborative team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting local and National Design teams by managing small to medium projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary Urbis teams across diverse project types, including urban regeneration, greenfield developments, infrastructure, and commercial precincts. Delivering key services such as site analysis, master planning, concept and design development, documentation, tendering, and construction administration. Applying a strong understanding of landscape architecture and construction processes (phases, deliverables, contract documents, and client expectations), with creative landscape and public realm design input from concept through to design development, documentation, and construction administration. Providing site supervision for projects, where required, and demonstrating a well-developed understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Building Codes, and industry standards as applicable to each project. Working efficiently and collaboratively with other professionals across multi-disciplinary projects—responding to briefs, meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and maintaining a commercial focus. Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, tenders, and tracking project fees with regular updates to the Assignment Manager or Director. Attending meetings with clients, consultants, industry representatives, and internal team members to support effective project delivery and client engagement. Supporting fellow team members in meeting project requirements and contributing to the promotion of the firm and its services to generate business opportunities. About you: Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture at a graduate or post graduate level Minimum 4–8 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a private practice or with local council or government. Communicates graphically at an advanced level using both digital and hand drawn formats to convey design ideas, concepts and documentation Brings an understanding of design principles and methods and the ability to apply them in the urban environment. Advanced and efficient skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and/or other 3D modelling software Advanced and efficient skills in relevant components of the Adobe Suite Successfully manages client priorities and expectations; Demonstrates adaptability when dealing with problems and changes to priorities; Communicates graphically at an advanced level using both digital and hand drawn formats to convey design ideas and concepts or documentation Why Urbis?
