Working within the Parliamentary precinct, you'll support a team that delivers exceptional dining experiences – from fine dining at Strangers' Restaurant to casual dining and large-scale event catering.This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to sustainability and sourcing local produce in a unique environment supporting Queensland's Parliament.**Key Responsibilities*** Perform cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene standards in all catering areas.* Wash crockery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.* Sanitise catering equipment (ovens, deep fryers, cool rooms, food processors).* Remove waste and clean floors, walls, and shelving.* Order, restock, and organize kitchen supplies.* Assist with moving catering supplies and equipment throughout the precinct.* Provide direction to casual and agency Kitchen Porters.**We are looking for:*** Experience working in a similar role.* Strong communication and teamwork.* Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and food hygiene practices.* Understanding of catering operations, food storage, and inventory control.**What We Offer**At Queensland Parliament, you'll work at the heart of Queensland's democratic process.
