FMCG Production Planner - 12-Month Contract (Queensland)

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Production Planner Plant/Site: Product Street Date Posted: 26 May 2026 Due to an internal promotion, Primo Foods are currently seeking a 12 month fixed term contract Production Planner to join our team based at our Wacol site. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring efficient production planning and consistent supply to customers, while balancing operational performance and inventory risk of our Snacking range. This is a agile role where you’ll collaborate across teams to optimise production outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain daily production plans aligned to Master Production Schedule targets
- Ensure supply continuity while adhering to stock holding policies and controlling SLOB costs
- Conduct weekly capacity planning to optimise production efficiency
- Analyse raw material constraints including meat and dry goods availability and incorporate into planning
- Communicate forecast accuracy issues with Supply Planning and respond to Sales information requests
- Produce regular reports, manage weekly orders and provide updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors, managers and supply planners
- Identify short-term risks and implement process improvements and mitigation strategies
- Maintain a strong focus on cost efficiency, yield optimisation and operational balance

What You'll Bring
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
- Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
