This is an exciting opportunity to join Pacific Air Cargo as a Business Development Manager
- Freight Forwarding. Based in our Eagle Farm office, this full-time role will see you play a key part in driving new business and expanding our customer base within the freight forwarding industry. What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to identify and secure recent business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals to win new contracts
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for clients
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets What we're looking for
- Significant experience in a sales or business development role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Proven track record of successfully achieving and surpassing revenue and profit targets, identifying, securing and retaining new business
- An established industry network and an active Export client base
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, logistics or a related field are preferred
