Description
Lead the delivery of Laboratory Information System (LIS) configuration through effective leadership and management of a specialist team.What you'll doAs the Application Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the CISSU LIS Configuration function, ensuring alignment with service delivery priorities and broader Digital Health Branch objectives. You will lead the development and maintenance of workforce and operational business plans to support sustainable team performance, while coordinating workload allocation and fostering collaboration within the Configuration team to deliver activities within agreed timeframes and quality standards. You will monitor and report on service performance, risks, and delivery progress, providing clear and regular updates to stakeholders, senior leadership, and governance forums. In addition, you will analyse performance outcomes to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring practices evolve to support efficient delivery, effective demand management, and achievement of defined service levels. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing service agreements and delivery frameworks, including exploring fee-for-service arrangements where appropriate, to ensure sustainable service delivery and clear accountability for configuration services.About youWe are searching for someone who has:Demonstrated expertise in managing clinical applications in large, complex service delivery environments, with comprehensive knowledge of AUSLAB Laboratory Information System and related pathology domains. (SFIA: TECH Levels 6,7)Demonstrated ability to lead ICT service management processes primarily incident, problem, change and release management, ensuring alignment with ITIL and eHealth frameworks. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, CHMG 5, RELM 5).Proven ability to deliver sustainable service improvements through demand and capacity management and workflow optimisation.Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience managing contracts and service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus.
