Senior Hseq Advisor Roads & Infra Projects Queensland

Fetch Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor to join our tier 2 civil client on multiple infrastructure (TMR) projects throughout Brisbane. This is a fantastic prospect to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities Monitor and implement HSEQ policies and procedures across multiple TMR projects (Sunshine Coast + Yarrabilba) Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices. Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.

Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in road infrastructure projects. Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Setting, or a related field (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum) Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSEQ standards and legislation. Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
