Welder/Fabricator ARG Workforce (Brisbane) (Queensland)

Our clients are looking for safety focused and motivated Welders/Fabricators to join their team on a fulltime basis in South and West of Brisbane, QLD. You will assist with day-to-day operations to ensure targets are met. Responsibilities and Duties
- Fabricate and weld from samples and engineered drawings
- General duties including use of grinding, cutting (friction & gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels
- Weld and fabricate machinery parts
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry out work safely
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner
- Complete all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation throughout the job process
- Adherence to all company procedures
- Assist in the facilitation of a harmonious workplace, working efficiently in the Fabrication team
- Other duties as directed by Management, commensurate with classification and training
- Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and workshop in general to 5S Standard Qualifications / Skills
- Relevant industry experience – Essential
- Minimum three years experience in this role or similar will be highly regarded
- Mechanical / Fabrication Trade Qualification
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Robust communication skills both written and verbal
- Time management, planning and organization skills
- Experience in workshop and field-based roles An immediate start is available, if you have a passion for people, quality, safety and community.
