Our Brisbane Construction & Infrastructure practice group comprises of 21 people including 3 Partners. The opportunity We have an opportunity to join our highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure practice in Brisbane. You’ll be part of a sub-team of 15 lawyers specialising in all aspects of front-end and back-end construction, acting for a broad range of prominent clients across diverse projects. Working closely with Partners Colin Harris & Paul Gordon, you’ll be involved in:
- Managing large-scale construction and infrastructure matters
- Leading and advising on adjudications, arbitrations and civil proceedings
- Gathering, assessing, and organising relevant evidence with a forensic mindset
- Drafting detailed and strategic legal submissions
- Applying a deep understanding of construction law to complex matters
- Engaging directly with clients and provide commercially strategic advice
- Service an existing client base with ongoing matters and significant workflow This is a well-established and high-performing team with a strong, collaborative culture. - ideally, 5+ years post admission experience
- significant exposure to, and interest in, construction law
- commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities
