Fitter Machinist & Skilled Operator Queensland

THE ROLE

As a Machine Shop Technician, you will be responsible for: Programming and operating 3,4 and 5 axis CNC machines CMN (Conventional Machining Network) machining Loading/unloading enclosures, tools and programs Monitoring machine operations and performing quality control checks Conducting routine maintenance on machines and tools Producing and inspecting prototype, R&D; and one off parts CAD modelling for machining tasks Supporting reworks, part modifications, and hardware output Participating in team meetings and continuous improvement Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

Criteria
- Required Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for a NV1 Defence Security Clearance Certificate III n Engineering Mechanical or Trade certificate in Fitting and Machining (preferred) Current driver’s licence

Criteria
- Desired CNC and/or steel manufacturing experience Familiarity with CAD modelling and machine maintenance Experience working with international standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ASME Y14.5 NV1 Security Clearance
