Cook Full Time Queensland

KKN Foods Pty Ltd is a rapidly expanding restaurant company, with a brand recent Indian restaurant opening in Acacia Ridge, QLD. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes in a quick-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. Your main goal will be to consistently deliver high-quality, authentic and flavorful dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to the restaurant's menu and recipes

Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies

Assist with menu planning and development

Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant

Proven experience in cooking Indian cuisine

Excellent knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Team player with excellent communication skills

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Relevant culinary qualifications (Certificate III in commercial cookery) will be highly regarded

We are offering a competitive salary of $74000 to $78000 for the right candidate, along with opportunities for growth opportunities and development within our expanding company.
